Determination of amount of oil on surfaces (NT POLY 181)

Abstract

  This method specifies a procedure to determine the amount of oil on a surface, i.e. the surface density of oil. The method requires the type of oil to be analysed to be known. The method is a comparative test and reference samples are needed. The result gives information on the range of surface densities, i.e. it does not give a specific value.
