Abstract

SCOPE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION

This method is intended for the making and curing of cast test specimens made from polymer cement concrete and mortar (PCC) containing polymer latex. The method describes the optimum curing and storage conditions of PCC specimens. The initial wetting period is necessary to ensure satisfactory cement hydration, while the late dry period is needed to give the optimum binding conditions for the latex. In the main, the method agrees with NT BUILD 201 and NT BUILD 366 (part 6.4.2.2)
