Abstract

SCOPE

This standard defines a method to be used for water-tightness testing under pulsating air pressure of building elements and components to be fitted in roofs and supplied in the form of completely assembled and finished units.

FIELD OF APPLICATION

This method applies to all components and sections of roofs made of any material in their normal operating conditions for which they are designed and installed according to the manufacturers recommendation in a finished building, bearing in mind test requirements as defined hereafter. The method applies to components and sections at any slope between 0° (horizontal) and 90° (vertical).
