Abstract
SCOPE
This test determines the acid resistivity of solvent-based and water-based organic paints on concrete surfaces. The concrete test specimens are coated with the paints to be tested and then stored in sulphuric acid solutions.
FIELD OF APPLICATION
The method is suitable for the determination of the acid resistivity of organic paints on undeteriorated concrete surfaces, and on concrete surfaces deteriorated due to acid attack.
