Abstract

SCOPE

This method describes a means of determining the bond between shotcrete and a concrete base. Unless otherwise stated, the base is a sawn concrete surface.

APPLICATIONS

One of the uses of this method is in preliminary investigations of the bond between different qualities of shotcrete and a concrete base. The expression “the bond between different qualities of shotcrete and a concrete base” as determined in accordance with this method refers to tensile stress in the bonding zone in a drilled core.
