Abstract

1. SCOPE

This NORDTEST method specifies a method to study moisture transfer through building materials exposed to excess moisture in service conditions. In the test transfer occurs mainly by capillary attraction.

2. FIELD OF APPLICATION

The method can be used to compare moisture transfer rates especially trough building materials in various humidity conditions. The method can be applied only to porous materials and their coatings.
