This Nordtest Method specifies a method of measuring in the laboratory, the noise emission (sound power level) from a radiator valve coupled to a specified reference radiator when a flow of water is forced through the valve at specified reference operating conditions.
This Nordtest method states procedures for measuring road traffic noise inside and outside buildings and in open terrain, under specified traffic and environmental conditions, at distances up to 100 m from the road.
This document specifies methods for measuring the A-weighted sound pressure level in rooms. The A-weighted sound pressure level is assumed to be due to noise from sources within the building. Guidelines for the correction of measurements made under one condition to values representative of other conditions are given in ANNEX A. ANNEX A is not an integral part of this method.
